My friend sent me this website this morning.
I went to the website, read about it and signed right up.
To be apart of the search for the cure for breast cancer? You bet! What an amazing opportunity.
I love the proactive approach and can't wait to hear more about it!
Go to their website and read about it. Then sign up.
Go on, go now.

Well Checks
Busy morning today.
Took the girls to their well check appointments this morning.
Kylee has a possible UTI again. We had no idea.
I didn't expect it and was leaving the office when the nurse came out and said there was blah blah and blah blah in Kylee's urine. Whatever that means. She said they were sending it to the lab and would call. Usually they put her right on an antibiotic, so I don't know if it was the same as usual. She said it could have just been a contaminated sample. I am praying for that.
I've about had it with this. Although, it has been almost a year since her last. I think maybe we need to revisit the tests they took when she was little. Maybe have a different doctor look at the tests and see if they see anything different.
Faith has to have a back x-ray for curvature of her spine. They have been watching it and aren't too worried but want to have the x-ray for watching purposes, I think. She didn't seem to think it was bad enough to result in a brace.
Other than that they were healthy. Faith was 5 foot 1 1/2 inches tall. She was delighted to hear that. Only an inch and a half shorter than me. And then the doctor told Kylee that she thought her top height would be about one inch taller than me. Another happy customer.
It's funny, I remember thinking when they were babies that things like going to the dr. would be so much easier when they got older.
It's not.

Oh Man!!!
I spent about an hour yesterday morning cutting down the cucumber and cutting back some of the herbs that had gone wild in the yard. In that hours time I didn't think about putting bug repellent on because it was morning and I just didn't think it was necessary.
I now have approximately 7 golf ball sized bites all over my limbs and one on my face. I have always reacted this way to bug bites. Once a pharmacist told my mom that I was not allergic to the bite it was most likely a reaction to the pesticides that the bug had come into contact with. Personally I don't really care what it is that I am allergic to I just really want them to go away. I have tried antihistamine pills and am rubbing antihistamine lotion into them. Any other ideas?
I feel like Will Smith from the movie Hitch when he eats the shell fish. Okay maybe it doesn't look that bad but in my mind it does.
Thanks bugs.

Walking is Great!
So, Mike and I decided that we should start trying to get out and exercise a little in the mornings...There is a fitness center in the clubhouse that we can use but we just can't seem to do it. But while it is nice out we are going to start with walks outside. Maybe these walks will turn into jogging and when it gets cooler we may go ahead and use the fitness center. Who knows!!!We decided to start yesterday.
Now, I am not a morning person, I don't love to get up early and see the sun rise but when I wake up I am up and ready to go. Mike, like me, is not a morning person either, but he is definitely not up and ready to go right after he wakes up.
But somehow we got up and made it on our first two walks. We walked about a mile each time at a fairly fast pace. I am proud of us and hope we can keep it up!!
The best part about it is that I get to do it with my very best friend!! It is great that I get to spend this time with him and even though I don't love the sweating and achy muscles, yes, I know I am out of shape, I love getting to spend time with him first thing in the morning. He is so fun, we always have a great time whether we are hanging out with friends, going out on a date, or going for a walk!!!
