Breakfast Date

Seth reached his reading goal a couple of weeks ago.

100 books!! He is a great reader!!

But we just haven't had a lot of free time lately. So I was determined to get our date in today. We have baseball tonight, assuming it doesn't flood, so I thought maybe a breakfast date was in order. He thought it was a great idea.

I got up got dressed and told him we were ready to go. As I was walking to the door he said, "wait mommy!!" And he ran out the door. I heard the garage door open and then a knock on the front door. That's right he was picking me up for my date! I could just eat him up!

So he opened the car door for me and we were off to Panera for bagels and coffee. When we got there we decided that hot chocolate sounded good. He really wanted decaf coffee but how can you turn down whipped cream?

After breakfast it was to the bookstore for a little shopping. We browsed for a bit then bought a book for him and we headed home.

It was a great morning.
