Wish Etiquette

I made a whole chicken the other night and with this chicken came a lovely wishbone.

Obviously, we saved it and let it dry out. And this morning I gave it to Seth and Kylee to make a wish on.

Here is the problem when they broke it, it broke exactly in half. No bigger side. No smaller side.

So who gets their wish?

Is it both or neither?

Um. Get another chicken? Best 2 out of 3?

The results described are quite unique, similar to a coin toss in which the coin lands and stays on its edge(not leaning against anything). Although quite improbable, these things occur. The result of an evenly split wishbone is a "draw" in which both parties are declared the winner and both shall get their wish.

If that indeed is true, dad, than poor Seth. Because, thinking that his chance for his wish was gone, since it split in half, he told us his wish.

He will now never know the joy of having the force.

But wait; not knowing that the wish would be honored means that the wish may very well be granted since it was possible deception that caused him to fess up to the wish in the first place. Does this make sense? Oh well, just trying to salvage the dreams...

Oh man, the force! Doug would kill to have the force. Especially when the remote is on the other side of the room. I think you need another chicken.
